Dóra is a teacher she also leads two groups of traditional archery. The brother, Szilárd is a natural horse trainer, show rider and was winning his own horse as the main price on a National Castle Games in 2003, on top of this he was also appointed already as young folk tradition master. Our Farm Circle Greenway Project focusses on heritage protection, we not only develop walking and riding routes but also challenge activity with our events. In 2008 we founded a private photo collecting movement where we took the central role of exhbition hosting. Since 2008 March we are renting an old train station built in 1928, we hope to renovate it and to exhibit old social features of the old line which served commercial purposes for the local products reaching the big city of Kecskemét from our rural farm places historically.
With our partners we enterred a project of NESsT in 2009 to create the business plan of a social enterprise to successfully produce and sell local products as one brand.
Earth
Clay and special mud and its bricks can be used for houses but also for pottery. The ancient methods are interesting as they are purely natural and also offer an excellent micro climate from within. Renovating on the natural way also can melt with other old techniques and motives, often Mexican or Indian motives are being used.
Wood
Building material, furniture, toys, music instruments are made to date, from parts from rootes to the crown.
Animals
Sheep are kept the most free and frequently in the farms, their skin, wool and sometimes even the bones are used for clothing or decoration. The deers in the woods are also often leaving some horns behind their footsteps, this is also a unique and ancient noble material to work with. A special natural jewel is made here of horse hair.
Herbs
Almost the whole year long very useful spices and herbs can be collected, the local artists also use
natural ingredients for coloring their fabric.
Natural and processed fruits
The area has installed a special farm food program a few years ago, the results are numerous home preservation methods and techniques surviving with their excellent and special taste.
Ancient races
Horses, sheep, pigs, cows but also numerous grains are kept and harvested on old fashioned, more natural ways.
Fishing
Hobby fishing is available, waters need more structural support through better water regulation.
